It’s been a while

I know, it’s been awhile.
Between Christmas events, organizing for Ontario, and life in general the Kullman household has been a busy place.
Not to mention we haven’t been sleeping well lately.
Brayden has decided he wants to stay up until Daddy goes to bed, which is usually around 12:00 am, and then lazily stays asleep until 9:00 or 10:00 am.
Well last night I fought back.
No child, you are not staying up that late!
Last night around 10:00 I fed him and then snuggled with him. He started to fall asleep then he became wise to my trick and jerked himself away.
So I just plucked in the soother, and held him tightly.
He then realized what I was trying to do, and resisted with ALL his might!
He kicked, he flopped, he wiggled and waggled.
Geoff turned out the lights to pretent that he was going to bed as well.
This helped at first, Brayden calmed down and started to drift into La La land, but just as he was fully asleep he’d jolt himself awake again!
Seriously boy!
Throughout this whole battle he had his eyes closed , so I know he was really tried.
This went on for quite awhile, until Geoff went to get a bottle ready to help calm him down and hopefully put him to sleep, and then he just gave up the fight and fell asleep, which was at 11:20 pm.
Victory!
So now it’s almost 10 am on Friday, and as an act of rebellion my baby is still asleep.
Take that Mom!
